Why is the speed I measure lower than my plan's speed?
Several factors can affect the reading: Wi-Fi instead of a cable, other devices on the network, open browser tabs, or an older router. Always test with a direct Ethernet connection for the most accurate result.
How often should I run a speed test?
If you notice your connection slowing down, run a quick test. For general monitoring, once a week during peak hours (7pm – 11pm) is enough.
What speed does Patras Broadband guarantee?
We deliver exactly the speed you choose, with a variance of no more than 5%. If you’re consistently measuring significantly lower, contact our team right away.
Does the Speed Test work on mobile?
Yes, it works fully on smartphones and tablets. In that case it measures the speed reaching your device over Wi-Fi, not the speed your router receives from the network.
I want to upgrade. Is there a fee?
There’s no change fee you simply pay the difference for the new plan. Send us an email and the change takes effect the same day.
